Who we are
GanpuraWork is an HR software platform. Companies ("customers") sign up to manage their employees' attendance, leave, payroll documents, tasks and records.
For the data a company stores about its employees, that company decides what is collected and why, and GanpuraWork processes it on the company's behalf. For the account details of the people who sign up and manage a company, and for visitors to this website, GanpuraWork decides how the data is used.
What we collect
We collect only what is needed to run the service:
- Account details: name, work email, mobile number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Company details: company name, logo, address, office location and settings.
- Employee records entered by the company: profile, attendance, leave, salary information, documents and tasks.
- Location at the moment of punch in or punch out, when the company uses office-zone attendance.
- Device information needed to send push notifications.
- Technical logs such as IP address, browser and time of request, kept for security.
How we use it
We use data to provide and secure the service: to sign people in, show the right records to the right people, generate documents, send notifications and emails, prevent misuse and support customers when they ask for help. We do not sell personal data and we do not use employee records for advertising.
Who can see the data
A company's data is visible only to that company's users, according to the roles and permissions the company sets. GanpuraWork staff access a company's data only to provide support at the company's request, to keep the service secure, or when required by law; such access is logged.
We use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, file storage and push notifications. They process data only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
Company data is kept while the company's account is active. When a company closes its account, its data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep certain records for longer. Security logs are kept for a limited time.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Each record belongs to one company and access is checked on every request. Passwords are stored as hashes, sign in attempts are rate limited and important changes are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect data and will inform affected customers of a breach as required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data. Employees should first contact their company's HR team, because the company controls their employee records. Account holders and website visitors can contact us directly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update this page and, where appropriate, tell company account owners by email.
