Roles
Each company using GanpuraWork decides what employee data it collects and why; for that data the company is the controller (the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and GanpuraWork is its processor. For account holders and website visitors, GanpuraWork is the controller.
How we help companies comply
GanpuraWork gives companies the tools to meet their obligations:
- Role-based access, so people see only what they need.
- Export of employee data to Excel for access requests.
- Editing and deletion of employee records by the company.
- Audit logs of important changes.
- Data kept separate for every company.
Requests from employees
If you are an employee and want to see, correct or delete your data, please contact your company's HR team, because they control your records. If you cannot reach them, contact us and we will forward your request to the company.
International transfers
Data may be processed by our service providers in other countries. Where this happens we rely on providers that offer appropriate protection for personal data.
Breaches
If a security incident affects personal data, we will inform the affected companies without undue delay, with the information they need to meet their own obligations.
